ABOUT RICK FULTZ

Rick Fultz is recognized as a man of integrity, and is esteemed as a minister to the body of Christ by teaching the importance of Kingdom Order and God’s Grace. His prophetic gifting enables him in speaking, counseling, encouraging, and directing with a spirit of compassion, humility and precision. As a publisher and author he has penned many writings with revelation knowledge. His walk with God has caused many to be liberated from the bondages of religiosity. Rick has a father’s heart and a genuine love for all people to come to the knowledge of Christ. He encourages all to enter God’s rest which can only be discovered and experienced fully in the Kingdom of God.  He accomplishes this by giving of his time and resources to those whom God places in his path. He is the founder and president of Mountain Stream Ministries. Rick and his wife Cheryl enjoy their family time with their two beautiful daughters, two son in-laws and three grandchildren. He and his wife reside just minutes from Gatlinburg, TN where they enjoy the awesome views of The Great Smoky Mountains, and an atmosphere that speaks of God’s Rest.

History

I have a long history in Christianity. Our Christian parents that are known for their integrity raised my siblings and me to reference the Lord in all that we do. They kept my brother, two sisters, and me in Church all the time. We were even there when there was no Church service going on! We were there to pray, work, clean and repair the house of God. We were always preparing for the next event, (which always included food) so we never went hungry! (smile) My mother is the best cook on the earth! So many came to the service just for the food. It was a precious time in those early years. My father, who is now gone home to be with the Lord left all of us a legacy of love. I have seen him weep over those that needed God in their life. He had no use for the phone, so he would travel great distances just to pray or give a word of encouragement or warning to those whom God had laid on his heart. He was so kind, and taught us to regard the unfortunate. He had a firm hand towards me and taught me to walk with integrity. My father also was a man after God's heart, and he passed that passion down to me in great measure. He was careful not to push me into ministry, but allowed the Holy Spirit to guide me into my purpose and destiny.

My Encounter

One day of just being a normal God-fearing son, it happened. I had my encounter with God. I'd had many experiences with God in the past, but never an encounter like this. God had touched my life in my early years, and now He was announcing to me the purpose He had for my life! It was during a Church service when everyone was praising God, it happened. God put His hand on my shoulder and I went to my knees. No one was praying for me, and nobody touched, or pushed me. It was God's hand that weakened my knees, so on bended knees I bowed. I remember it well. I was only Eighteen years of age, and recently married. My wife (Cheryl) remembers it well. We have been married now for over 31 years. God spoke to me and announced to me. "This Day I Have Set You In The Office of a Prophet." Those were almost strange words for me at the time. I knew about the prophetic, but had never heard the term "Office of a Prophet." So, I rejoiced and was somewhat nervous about what I was supposed to do in this calling.

My Search

It is a calling,… but God said, "I have (SET) you in. What is the Office of a Prophet? I asked many ministers about this and they didn't have a clear answer about this Office I was now in. Well, I asked God to show me about "The Office Of A Prophet" and He answered. Not all at once, but through many years of process. You might say, the wilderness was my classroom and the Holy Spirit was and still is my teacher.

It has been through many years of process that I can speak and teach about this Office Of A Prophet, and what it means to walk in it. I have learned that salvation is free to all men, but walking with God will cost you everything! I have paid a great price to walk in this calling. I am a "set" man. God set me in as His Prophet, and by His grace I have remained. It wasn't until I entered into His Rest that all things were made clear. This is another subject, so I will stop here.

This is a brief history about my life and calling. I hope this helps someone who is trying to find the meaning of his or her calling.
